Thank You for stopping by and checking out my blog! \u00a0My name is Laurie, and I have been a photographer since 2000. \u00a0My specialty has always been maternity and newborn photography. \u00a0I have loved it, lived it, and have run a thriving business doing it for many years. \u00a0I have taught photography since 2010, and have mentored photographers from all over the world. \u00a0I also teach photoshop and have an extensive background in graphic design.<\/p>\n
Mid 2015, I decided to add a new genre to my specialities\u2026Woman’s Modern Portraiture. \u00a0I create all the clothing and props you see in my pictures. \u00a0Because of this, I also own and operate a Photography Prop Shop, where I sell all the items I use in my work and more! \u00a0It allows for another set of my creative skills to shine, and I’m in love with it!<\/p>\n
I’m a mom, a wife, a sister, an aunt, and all the things that go along with a husband and wife\u00a0who each\u00a0have five\u00a0brothers and sisters! \u00a0It makes for a very large, extended family! \u00a0I was born in California, grew up\u00a0in Michigan (Berkley & Royal Oak), and moved to\u00a0Southern California (Newport Beach) when I was 21. \u00a0I currently\u00a0reside in Vancouver, Washington (about 15 min’s from Portland, Oregon).<\/p>\n
